This was the continuation of a 13-part series.

The first 8 sermons in this series, i.e. on Matthew 11:25–27, were presumably in Notebook No. 1, whose whereabouts is unknown.

The next 5 sermons on Matthew 11:25-30, transcribed here, are from Newton's Notebook No. 2.

All 13 sermons from the Matthew 11:25–30 series were published in Sermons preached in the parish-church of Olney (London: Johnson, 1767).

Johnson had asked Newton for a few more sermons to make it up to 20 for a good sized book.

Most recently they were published in The Works of John Newton (Banner of Truth, 2015) 4 vols, in volume 2 as Twenty sermons preached in the parish-church of Olney.
